Nvidia reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 revenue of $81.62 billion on May 20, 2026, an 85% increase from $44.06 billion in the same period a year earlier, clearing the approximately $79 billion Wall Street consensus estimate by a meaningful margin. The data center segment drove the result, generating $75.2 billion โ€” more than double the year-ago figure and accounting for 92% of total company sales โ€” as enterprise and sovereign customers continued scaling deployments of Blackwell-architecture GPUs for AI workloads.

Net income for the quarter rose to $42.96 billion, or $1.76 per share, compared with $18.8 billion, or 76 cents per share, a year prior. Free cash flow reached $48.6 billion, up from $34.9 billion in the prior quarter.

The results extended a run of consecutive record quarters for Nvidia, driven by sustained demand from cloud hyperscalers and national AI programs building out large GPU clusters. Analysts at UBS and several other firms had raised price targets in the weeks ahead of the report, citing supply chain signals pointing to strong Blackwell shipments. The Predict Six community predicted YES at 81%, correctly calling the revenue beat.
